WorkWORLDTM Technical Support


General Information

Registered users of WorkWORLDTM are eligible for free technical support services. You may obtain help about installation or operation of the software via email, telephone, or regular mail. Our Help Desk is open Monday through Friday (except holidays) between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern time.

Please note that the support we are able to offer is limited to installation and operation of the program. We regret our funding does not permit us to provide detailed information about the various benefit programs or how they might apply to you as an individual. If you need this type of assistance, please contact your benefits counselor or case manager at the applicable agency in your locality.

Frequently Asked Questions
Before you contact us, it may be helpful to review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page on our web site. You may be able to find an answer to your question posted there, and resolve your problem immediately. Our technical support staff maintains records of each help contact, and updates the FAQs regularly.

Contacting Us: General
If you need to contact us for help, please have your WorkWORLD version number available. We need it to access help files related to your version of WorkWORLD. You can find it in the program by clicking Help on the main menu at the top of the screen, and then clicking About WorkWORLD on the drop down menu.

Additionally, please be sure to include your name, address, telephone number, and email address for fastest response.

Our email address is WorkWORLD@vcu.edu.

Email is our preferred method for providing support, as it provides a written record of communications. This allows both you and us to easily convey detailed descriptions without ambiguity and refer to them later.

We try to respond to email support questions within 60 minutes of receipt. Please remember that if your email arrives during the last hour of Help Desk operation, you may not receive a response until the following work day.

Our Help Desk telephone number is (804) 828-2665.

You can reach a member of our technical support staff at this number during normal Help Desk hours. If a staff member is not immediately available, you will be asked to leave a voice mail message. Please remember to include your telephone number if you leave a message. We will try to call you back within an hour.

We try to respond to telephoned support questions within 60 minutes of receipt. Please remember that if your phone call arrives during the last hour of Help Desk operation, you may not receive a response until the following work day.
