IS WorkWORLD EASY TO USE?

WorkWORLD has an elaborate Help and Information system users can access in a variety of ways. As each question appears, context-specific help about the question or information about possible answers is a mouse click away. For example, when you arrive at the input question, "PASS reducing Countable Income: Are you claiming any of your employability investments and/or work expenses under a Plan for Achieving Self Support (PASS)?", it is possible to immediately click in to WorkWORLD's Help/Information System and learn about this specific work incentive option. The Help screen pops up and displays: "A Plan for Achieving Self-Support (PASS) lets you spend or save income (other than SSI income) and/or resources for employability investments and work expenses that SSA agrees will help you move toward a goal that will make you financially more self-supporting".

Similarly, each text result note, alert, and recommendation is linked to explanations and/or procedures necessary to follow the recommendations. The user may select information topics from a table of contents or the complete index. Additionally, it is possible to search the entire information system for specific words.

Finally, many topics have links to Internet sites accessible directly from the program. For your convenience, the complete WorkWORLD Help System is available online.
